FAQ
-
Do you have my date available?
Once you have contacted me about my availability I will try to respond to you within 24 hours. If I am available, we can organise an online meeting to discuss your ideas and get to know each other. You can get more information and ask me questions before you book.
-
What is your photography style?
My photography style is mainly documentary, I love getting natural candid shots of you and your guests having a great time. However, I do also make sure there are some more traditional photos and group shots if this is what you want. I always talk to couples about what they want but it is really important that you like my photography style, which is natural, bright and vibrant as this will not change! I try to make couples feel relaxed in front of the camera and hope that after a short amount of time you’ll forget I’m even there as I will have blended into the background.
-
Can I see some of your previous photos and albums.
Yes! It is so important that you are happy with the photography style I create before you book me. I regularly update my website, so you can see sample photos from my most recent weddings. You can also follow me on Instagram and see some of the photos here, or come and see me at Cotswold Wedfest wedding fairs, to see albums and prints in person (https://www.cotswoldwedfest.co.uk/).
-
Will I be able to give you a list of specific shots we want you to take?
Nearer your wedding, I will send you a form where you can tell me any specific photos you want me to get. For example, specific groups of people or particular parts of the day such as throwing the confetti or cutting the cake. However, most of my time will be documenting your day as it happens, keeping it as natural as possible. We will talk through these details at your pre-wedding consultation, which is included as part of any wedding package you book.
-
Do you offer an engagement shoot as part of the wedding package?
If you book the 6 hour (The Mini Day), 8 hour (The Whole Day) or the 10 hour (The Whole Day +) packages, a pre wedding shoot is included within the cost of the package. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to start feeling more relaxed in front of the camera before your big day. The shoot is an hour in a location of your choice within the travel area I cover. If your package doesn’t include a pre wedding shoot, you can decided to add one for £180.
-
Do we need to pay for your travel costs?
Although I am based in Oxfordshire, the package costs also apply to weddings in Gloucestershire, Bristol, Warwickshire, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire and London.
-
Do we have to choose a package or can we tailor things to our needs?
If the packages don’t cover what you want, we can discuss your needs. Each additional hour is charged at £180.
-
Do you have insurance?
Definitely! All photographers charging for their services should have insurance.
-
How much is a second shooter?
You do not need to have a second shooter but sometimes it's useful to have one, especially for larger weddings or if the bride and groom are getting ready in different locations. You can book a second shooter for up to six hours for £350.
-
How will we receive our photos?
Your album will be shared with you via an online secure service called Pixiset. You will be able to download and share your online album with friends and family.
-
How many questions can I send you?
It’s really important to me that you are feeling confident about your wedding photography and the whole day. As such, I do not set a limit on contacting me, but we do make sure we meet before your wedding, to talk through your final plans, so I am ready to photograph your day.
-
Do you offer a printing and album service?
Yes! Through Pixiset, you can order prints. Although prints are brilliant, an album is a stunning way to reminisce about your day. An album can be a great way to remember the story of your day from beginning to end. I use a company called Folio Albums who create beautiful products of a very high quality. Albums start at £200.
-
How long will it take for final photos to arrive?
I aim to get your album back to you within 6 weeks but often get it back to you sooner.

A 15% deposit is due on booking. Until this has been paid your wedding date will not be reserved.
-
When will we need to make the final payment?
The final balance is due four weeks before your wedding. Once this is paid, we will organise an online consultation to discuss final details.
